About Us

The Journal of AHIMA is the official publication of the American Health Information Management Association. It delivers best practices in health information management and keeps readers current on emerging issues that affect the accuracy, timeliness, privacy, and security of patient health information.

The Journal is published every month online and prints six issues a year.

AHIMA members receive the Journal as part of their membership. Nonmembers may receive the journal through subscription. Members and subscribers may request missing issues by contacting customer relations at (800) 335-5535 or submitting a customer support request. Members may change their mailing address online by logging on to myAHIMA through the AHIMA website.
