The location of AHIMA’s Assembly on Education Symposium/Faculty Development Institute has been changed from the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel to the Marriott Marquis. The Sheraton has voluntarily closed until further notice due to cases of Legionnaires’ disease.
The meeting will still take place on the scheduled dates of July 27-31, 2019. Meeting attendees who have already made a reservation at the Sheraton do not need to do anything else. Their reservation will be transferred to the Marriott Marquis, which is located at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue. Attendees should receive a confirmation by Monday, July 22. The room rate per night will not change. The address for the new location is Atlanta Marriott Marquis, 265 Peachtree Center Avenue.
