The Journal of AHIMA‘s redesigned website earned a Bronze Award in the Association Media & Publishing’s (AM&P) 2015 national EXCEL competition.
The web site was honored for excellence in the category “Web Publishing: Redesign.”
Launched in 2008, the site offers a mix of breaking news, industry reporting, and special features highlighting the news of the health information management industry, as well as news about the association.
The redesigned website, launched in December 2014, includes easy-to-navigate pages that highlight news topics and enhanced web-exclusive content, a homepage slider that’s continuously updated with breaking news and featured articles, and quick access to popular posts and recent comments. The website offers a visually engaging experience for users, with new designs for regular online columns and photo slideshows that discuss topics of interest in the HIM industry.
