The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT) recently published a whitepaper which analyzes the organization’s efforts to promote EHR and HIE interoperability at the federal, state, and local levels.
The 2013 AHIMA Nominating Committee recently met in Chicago and prepared the ballot for 2014 association leadership and CCHIIM commissioner positions. Voting for these positions begins September 3 and ends September 23, with election results expected in early October.
