  1. I am up for the change! I am start5ing a new HIM program at Klamath Community College, in Klamath Falls Oregon. We are planning on submitting our letter of intent January 2017 with our first graduating class of June 2017.
I was in attendance in AOE in Denver – the energy was really weird. But, I get the need for the change and will be working on the new competencies. I am open to help and suggestions in this area.

    • I am very interested in the role HIM will have working directly with our patients in assisting them with navigating and understanding their PHI. Could we have more information about the specifics of the position mentioned in the video. Thank you

  2. For an RHIT who has been in transcription for the past 30 years, still working in a hospital but seeing that the future is eventually going to lead to the end of my position, where do I go from here? What skills from transcription can lead to other areas in HIM?
